Graduated from Polytechnic of Turin in Italy with an Electronics Engineering degree; MBA from INSEAD Business School (Fontainebleau, France).

Worked with Andersen Consulting in Spain and with FMC in California (US). Michele was then a Senior Engagement Manager with McKinsey & Company, in the Milan office (92-96). During this period he was part of the media, retail and fashion practice. Michele co-founded Net Partners Ventures in 1997, the first European venture capitalist exclusively focused on internet start ups. In 2005, he founded A.M.E. Ventures, an investment holding focused on start ups on internet and renewable energy. AME Ventures controls Solar Ventures.

Michele in 2002 was a Global Leader of Tomorrow at the World Economic Forum, and is a member of the Aspen Institute in Italy and of the Young Presidents’ Organization, a worldwide network of entrepreneurs. Michele is well known in the solar sector and a frequent speaker at key international conferences. Strong commitment in the renewables revolution is also demonstrated through the initiative Behind Energy.com, Telling the Truth about Energy.

Graduated from Università Commerciale Luigi Bocconi in Milan with an Economics degree, he is a chartered accountant since 1994.

He started his career in 1992 in Ernst & Young in Milan and London. In 1997 he was hired as Senior Equity Analyst at Crédit Lyonnais Securities, where he followed the media, utilities and real estate sectors. From 1999 to 2006 he is Investment Director in Pino Ventures Partners, a private equity fund specialized in media, telecommunication and networking applications. In June 2006 he joined Alicros S.p.A. as head of private equity, where he has lead with success many investments among others Eraclea. In March 2008 he joined Solar Ventures as Chief Financial Officer and follows the development of the projects in some countries.
